Steven White
Quartermaster - Army
Steven White joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars in 2023 and is currently serving as Post 9876’s Quartermaster.
He is also a lousy member of the Military Order of the Cooties.
Hailing from Irving, Tx., he is now working as an English language tutor from his home in Pattaya. He was a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) and was certified in hazardous material (HAZMAT) remediation.
Steven joined the US Army and after attending Basic Training at Ft. Jackson, SC and the Combat Medic Course at Ft. Sam Houston, TX, he was stationed in the Federal Republic of Germany.
From there, he has deployed to operations in Thailand and Iraq.
He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terror Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with M Device, and the Expert Marksmanship Badge.
Steven enjoys serving with the VFW and hopes to be given ever increasing responsibilities as his knowledge and experience grows.
