passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017

Billy "Gunny” Goodman passed away at the age of 90 years in Sacramento, California. He was born on April 2, 1927. Gunny transferred from to Post 9876 from Post 6407 in Scott City, Mo in 2009. He became a life member of the VFW in Jefferson City, MO. In 1965.

Gunny earned the Bronze Star w/V, the Purple Heart, the World War 2 Victory Medal, the Korean Service Medal w/3*, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation, Navy Unit Commendation, Asiatic Pacific Service Medal and the Philippines Liberation Medal.

Funeral services will be arranged by his son, Billy Jr. in California.
