Fredrick J. Estes passed away on November 13, 2009.
"Fred was widely known and respected among VFW Comrades both here in Thailand and the P.I.s. <Philippine Islands>
He had a distinguished military career as a Sergeant 1st Class in the Army serving in both Korea and Vietnam.
After retirement from the military, he continued to serve our country via his dedication to us as a VFW member.
I note the following VFW positions he served in:
- 1995-1996 Junior Vice Commander
- 1997-1998 Commander of this post, 9876
- 1999-2006 DPA District 5 Trustee
And he was a Cootie....
